What is Quizarvo?
Quiz arvo pubish a trivia quiz every Friday morning on this site. We leave you to pick your brains for a few hours before publishing the answers in the comments section a few hours later.

How did Quizarvo begin?
Quizarvo began life as The Friday Office Quiz back in September 2008. Our founder (The Quizmaster) began emailing trivia questions to colleagues across the City of London to pass the time on those slow Friday afternoons. These mini-quizzes soon found their way into inboxes accross London and the rest of the world and The Friday Office Quiz was born. The name was changed to Quizarvo in early 2009.

When are new quizzes published?
A new quiz will be available on the site every Friday morning. If you can't wait that long, have a browse through our archive (on the right of this page) and try out one of our previous quizzes.

Can I subscribe?
You can subscribe to Quizarvo by entering your email address in the box on the right where it says "Subscribe to Quizarvo". By subscribing, you will receive an email whenever a new quiz is available. This email will contain a link that takes you to the latest quiz.

How do I get the answers?
When a new quiz is posted on a Friday morning, the comments section (found at the bottom of a quiz) is disabled. Around 3-4pm (GMT), the comments are enabled and the Quizmaster will post the answers here. To see them, simply click on "comments" at the bottom of the quiz. You are then also welcome to post your own comments on that particular quiz (or brag about how well you did!).

But i'm only really interested in Sport/Movie/TV trivia!
No problem! On the right hand side of the page you will see a list of categories. Click on a category to see a list of the Friday Quiz issues which feature a round containing questions relating to the chosen category.

I think one of your answers is wrong!
On our older quizzes in the archive, some of the answers may be outdated (example, a "Who is the President of the USA?" question from 2008 will be different in 2009). If you think any answers are just plain wrong, let us know at info@quizarvo.com.

Are there any prizes?
No - Quizarvo is just for fun. Though we may run competitions in the future.

Can I use your questions in my own pub/work quiz?
Yes you can, but please mention Quizarvo when doing so!

Why aren't the questions sent to me directly via email anymore?
With our ever growing numbers of subscribers, this was becoming too big a job, especially with all of the attachments! The questions are now available only via the website. You can rest assured that the latest quiz will appear on this site every Friday morning. You can still print it out and pass round to your colleagues, but it;s now just as easy for them to access the questions themselves via the website.
